Reaching Makkah
Fastest is the Haramain train from Jeddah airport or Al Sulimaniyah (~50 minutes) to Makkah's Rusayfah station, then 10 minutes to the Haram. Remember: entry is for Muslims, and Umrah requires a Nusuk permit.
In the City
The modern Makkah Buses network converges on the Haram, and ride apps are plentiful with parking at the central area's edges.
During Hajj
The Mashair metro links Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah under the official permit system.
Tip: stay near the Haram or on a bus route — walking beats driving in the central area at peak times.
