Qasr Ibrahim is a prominent historic landmark in Al-Hofuf, first built alongside the Qubba Mosque in 963 AH (1555 CE) during the Ottoman era. It was renovated in 1216 AH by Ibrahim bin Ufaysan, from whom it takes its name. Its architecture blends Islamic and military styles, featuring a large mosque with a famous dome alongside massive walls and defensive towers. It served as the seat of the Ottoman garrison in Al-Ahsa until King Abdulaziz Al Saud took control of it in 1913.
