Aspire Park

Doha's largest park at 88 hectares, built as part of the Aspire Zone project ahead of Qatar hosting the 15th Asian Games in 2006, which turned this part of Al Rayyan into an international sports and recreation hub. The park is home to the country's only artificial lake, along with walking and jogging tracks, children's playgrounds, exercise equipment, and cafés. It's open 24 hours a day, seven days a week (with facilities and restaurants running from 8am to 10pm), features tree species brought in from around the world, and attracts ducks and geese that flock to the lake to escape the desert heat. Doha Zoo
