Global Harbor officially opened on September 15, 2013, at 3300 North Zhongshan Road in Putuo District. Developed by the Yuexing Group and designed by British firm Chapman Taylor in a neoclassical style inspired by Italian Renaissance palaces, it features grand columns and symmetrical arches. The complex spans roughly 480,000 square meters across six levels, and includes two towers housing offices and a Hyatt Regency hotel, along with a VR theme park and dozens of international restaurants, making it one of Shanghai's largest malls. It sits next to Jinshajiang Road metro station, served by Lines 3, 4, and 13.
