Maison Libanaise opened on Shelley Street in Soho, Central, as an all-day Lebanese canteen inspired by the forgotten beauty of 1960s Beirut, once known as the "Paris of the Middle East." Spread across three distinct floors, it transports guests into an atmosphere of warm, familial Lebanese hospitality. Over the years, the restaurant has become known for homemade staples such as labneh, hummus and baba ganoush, alongside shawarma and other Lebanese classics, served in a friendly, everyday-canteen atmosphere. The restaurant is currently undergoing a full renovation after ten years of service, and is set to reopen in autumn 2026 with a refreshed look, while preserving the authentic spirit of Lebanese hospitality that has defined it since it first opened.
