Kimchi Korean Fusion holds the distinction of being Hong Kong's first halal Korean restaurant, located on Kimberley Road in Tsim Sha Tsui. It was founded in 2021 by Mustafa Temir, who also owns a halal Turkish kebab shop elsewhere in the city — experience that gave him direct knowledge of local certified halal meat suppliers before applying the same standards to a Korean kitchen.

The menu spans a wide range of Korean dishes: starters, noodles, soups, and hot plates, alongside tabletop grilled barbecue, traditional jjigae stew, the famous bibimbap, japchae glass noodles, crispy fried chicken, and a full spread of banchan side dishes. The restaurant has given many Muslims — from Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and Muslim communities in China — their very first taste of authentic Korean food.
