Elephant Grounds is the original outlet of the well-known Hong Kong chain, opened in 2013 on the ground floor of Hollywood Centre on Hollywood Road, one of Sheung Wan's most historic streets, close to Man Mo Temple and the neighbourhood's antique shops. The branch has an open glass-fronted layout that spills from the street into a terrazzo-floored interior with warm wood detailing.

The chain is known for its locally roasted specialty coffee and Western brunch dishes such as French toast and egg plates, along with its house-made ice cream, which has made it a favourite with both locals and visitors since it opened.

The café is a short walk from Sheung Wan MTR station, making it a convenient stop while exploring Hollywood Road and the nearby antiques market.
