MixC Luohu opened in mid-December 2004 near the junction of Shennan Road and Bao'an South Road, becoming the first large shopping mall in Shenzhen to connect directly to the metro network. It is widely regarded locally as the "ancestor" of Shenzhen's big shopping malls. The complex comprises six retail floors totaling 167,000 square meters, alongside a 29-storey Grade A office tower. It is operated by a subsidiary of China Resources Land and formed Phase I of Shenzhen China Resources Center, while its Phase II includes the Grand Hyatt Shenzhen. By 2014 it was the highest-earning mall in Shenzhen. The mall connects directly to Grand Theatre Station on Metro Line 1, while Line 2 exits provide direct access to basement level B1.
