Marco Polo Shenzhen opened at No. 28 Fuhua 1st Road in Futian CBD, a 41-storey tower that was, for many years, one of the district's notable 5-star hotels. In recent years the property came under IHG management and is now branded Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian, though many booking sites still list it under its former Marco Polo name.

The hotel offers several hundred rooms and suites, an outdoor pool, a fitness center, a spa, and multiple in-house restaurants and cafes.
